Attendance was very low.
We had a new person.  His name is Will and he has a Jeep YJ.  It looks to be pretty clean and nicely set up.  Hopefully he will join us on a run soon.
Greg Fuller will be starting a poll regarding peoples interest in concealed weapons permits.
MVC Facebook is up and running. Anyone can post up pictures to the Facebook page even if they arent a Facebook member.  Davey and Greg Fuller are admins. Consult them if you have any questions.
Next month we will see if Pooh has a functional winch or not.  If you have Obama stickers, please bring them to the meeting.  We will be installing them on Davey and Bryan Bagwell's trucks or Pooh's truck depending on if the winch works or not.
Davey is still looking into weather or not we can be helpful in preventing people from wheelin in a local field.  He will keep us abreast of the situation.
Gail has us signed up with the Blue Ribbon Coalition.  She will post forms that allow the members of the club to get a membership at a discount rate of $15.00.
The annual Breitenbush cleanup is May 1st.  Davey, Bryan and Gail are definantly going to attend.  Please feel free to join.  They may be camping for the weekend.  This is an oppurtunity to network with other types of outdoor enthusiasts and show the forestry service we care.
There will be a playday at Joe Coopers house Feb 21st at 12pm.
David Capell will be leading a run to Browns Camp March 6th.
Davey suggested we go to Florence soon.  We will keep this in mind and try to organize a little later in the year.

Thanks to everyone that came to the meeting.

Sorry I could not make the Meeting... was busy with school.

In any case, I think Greg posting the CHL information is a great idea.
I would also like to propose some of you in the club get your Tech. HAM radio license. There is already a thread on this:

The meeting went well, and that is a good recap. Someday I want to get a HAM license. It's just hard to find the time right now to mess with it.

I don't , but the HAM radio go so well with the wheelin. If you compare them to a CB, it is like comparing a cell phone to a satalite phone as far range and they are so clear that they make you never want to have to use a CB again.

I used mine this last hunting season while in Heppner and was able to hit Pendleton to call for assistance!
